Morgan S. Bumbaugh, CPA joined The Liles Group as a PWM Financial Planner in September of 2024. In this role, Morgan helps expand the breadth and the depth of our income tax planning and estate tax planning capabilities, and she also supports our team in our broader financial planning offerings, especially charitable planning and retirement income planning. Additionally, Morgan leads our personal tax preparation efforts for select clients.
Prior to joining Baird, Morgan served as a Tax Manager at Cherry Bekaert in Nashville, where she focused primarily on serving high net worth individuals and families, trust and estates, and closely held businesses. She also gained valuable experience serving as an accountant at The Southern Baptist Foundation.
A native of Union City, TN, Morgan earned both her bachelor’s degree and her Master of Accountancy from the Jack C. Massey College of Business at Belmont University. Morgan is a Certified Public Accountant, and she is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of CPAs.
